So what you are saying is follow every step as you did, but eliminate zip ties and use the jb weld plastic bonder in place of the zip ties ?

Not bad, I would secure it with more bolts just so you’re not putting too much on the carbon fiber lip. I run 12 bolts on my mazda and that thing ain’t coming off. Good job though, might have to try something like that out

This is a great trick! Now I can fix my front signal light on my van. For some unknown reason a plastic tab broke on it and the light fell out. This is a cheap but good fix. Excellent

i got very similar carbon dash pieces, with the 2 dim raido slot, but with ashtray on the left, really nice kit, my roof is similar too in black alcantare, the grey original roof is pretty ugly.

I have a question If thr exhaust is brand new. so I still need to sand the surface ? Do i need to use a Primer first then thr paint? I am wondering if I can also paint to some of the inside of the openings of the exhaust pipes? So inside of each exhause.pipe like maybe a couple of inches I side of each.of the exhaust pipes?

He’s using nylon to weld ABS together. He should get ABS plastic welding rods.

What came to mind when I saw the break on that tab is damage caused by harmonics. In the same way that someone is pushed higher on a swing set, an undampened vibration can go unchecked and do some damage. Im sure when the part was designed and simulated by software it was done with the chasis tight and all bushings working fine. My bet is something rattles and/or bushings shot. The part, if repaired to the same strength may fail again without adding a rubber gasket above and below and/or a few more vertical stiffeners running perpendicular like the one down the middle. That's my guess anyway.
